Most Secret arrives safely at Yarraman Park – Scone.

The first of the broodmares to head East for the 2013 breeding season is Most Secret for Dawson Stud. Most secret is the dam of Railway Stakes winner Covertly and produced the top selling yearling at this year’s Perth sales, a colt by Lonhro knocked down to John Chalmers Bloodstock for $260,000 who incidentally is a leading client of CHT. Both Chalmers and Dawson Stud have been clients of CHT since our inception 30 years ago. Graham and the late Chrissy Daws have been great advocates of the WA Breeding scene having imported and stood the champion Caerleon sire “Bletchley Park” and being very innovative with their breeding program by regularly culling and replenishing the stud with high class mares which have produced many successful racehorses and established themselves as leaders at yearling sales across the country. Graham has been an active committee member of the WA Turf club for many years and Chrissy was very involved in promoting WA Bred yearlings to trainers & owners both locally and throughout the world.
We currently have 4 high class beautifully bred weanlings on the road from Scone to the newly established Dawson Stud (Old Evergreen) in Myalup – Maybe the 2014 sales topper is amongst them !
