CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SALE TOPPERS

We wish to Congratulate Neville & Susan Duncan and all the crew at Oakland Park Stud on topping the 2016 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale with Lot 474 a colt by high profile stallion Snitzel out of the mare Beauty World selling for $700,000 which is also the second highest priced yearling in Victorian history. Lot 474 was one of a draft of 6 yearlings CHT moved from Oakland Park Stud to Blue Gum Farm, Euroa in November for their final prep for the Inglis sales. It has been a very interesting journey to listen to Neville and his vision to mate some mares back in 2013 specifically aimed at producing a draft of yearlings for the Melbourne sales in 2016 which history has now proven what an astute and dedicated breeder he is with a great vision for the future. Combined Horse Transport are very proud to have been a part of this journey not just moving the mares backwards and forwards for this very successful venture but also for the many years preceding that have seen Oakland Park Stud produce some outstanding Bloodstock gracing their presence on Australian racetracks including the famous “Northerly”. Combined Horse Transport are very grateful for the opportunity to work with such professionals for so many years and look forward to many more to come and wish Neville, Susan, Adrian and all the OPS crew every success in the future.

Congratulations are also in order for Brent Atwell of Darling View Thoroughbreds and the Western Breeders Alliance with the day 1 sales topper and selling 4 yearlings over $100,000 with a top lot of $170,000 at the recent Perth Magic Millions sales. Darling View Thoroughbreds have also been very successful on the track with horses they have bred including the recent Rivers winning the $250,000 Magic Millions 2yo at Pinjarra.

Brent is a very enthusiastic and relatively young breeder which has to be beneficial to the future of the Industry and we wish him ongoing success and appreciate his continued trust in us to move his valued Bloodstock Interstate.

We also congratulate Graham Daws of Dawson Stud for their success not only at the Perth sales but also on the East Coast where they continue to produce top class yearlings that are in high command as a result of their disciplined breeding program they have worked hard on to build up over the years. We thank them for their continued support over many years to move their high class Thoroughbreds.
